The Dunes Golf Club in Matarangi borders the tranquil Whangapoua Harbour and the beautiful Matarangi Beach. From your ceremony overlooking the beach to your reception at The Dunes Restaurant & Bar looking out over the Golf Course to the Coromandel Ranges and the sunset it makes a spectacular wedding venue with room for a small marquee to accommodate additional guests that flows nicely from the covered deck area.

The charming and historic Kūaotunu Hall, situated in the heart of the laid-back Kūaotunu Village, is the perfect venue for small to medium weddings. You have the option of having your ceremony in the hall itself or on one of the many stunning beaches that surround Kūaotunu – the closest being just 2 minutes away.

The hall accommodates 80 people (seated) or 100 (buffet-style). There is also a grassed area outside which is perfect for erecting a marquee.

Our Community Centre is a great place for that special day  – whether a  weddings , birthday or anniversary. We can cater for larger numbers, have great on – site parking , lots of accommodation options – and a motor camp/resort across the road. Locations for stunning photographs are a short walk or drive away.

A tranquil 10 minute walk from the beach,  guests of Opoutere Farmhouse have full usage of the 4 bedroom house, 4 acres of peaceful and private grounds including
12m swimming pool and outside fireplace.  The 9 x 16m converted shed on the property provides a weatherproof option for your celebration or alternatively, the large, flat and sheltered lawn is perfect for a marquee if you choose.

Rangihau Valley Homestead offers a perfect wedding venue on the Coromandel Peninsula, ideal for both intimate elopements and larger gatherings of over 120 guests. This private, 17-acre estate in Coroglen boasts a historic Kauri homestead with a wraparound verandah, set amidst mature trees, expansive gardens, sprawling pastures, and a river boundary. Despite its secluded feel, it’s conveniently located just 10 minutes from the main highway and Coroglen Tavern, and only a 25-minute drive from Whitianga.
